Yoga and meditation, a duet vincente

Anyone who says that yoga and meditation are two boring activities is very wrong and now I will explain why.

Practicing yoga and meditation has become very popular in recent years, and with good reason! Yoga helps us maintain body flexibility, improve our posture and free the mind from daily tensions. Meditation, on the other hand, allows us to find inner peace and improve our attention and concentration.

But who said practicing yoga and meditation has to be boring? There are many fun and original variations of these exercises that will make you smile while you relax.

For example, have you ever tried laughter yoga? It is a form of yoga that combines yogic breathing and laughter exercises. Yes, you heard right: laughter exercises! It doesn't matter if you are initially embarrassed, in the end you will feel free and cheerful. The bonus? Laughter has a positive effect on your mental and physical health!

Or, if you're looking for a little adventure, you could try Sup yoga. In this type of yoga a Sup board is used. It is a very fun and creative experience, but be careful: it requires a certain balance, otherwise a bath is guaranteed.

As far as meditation goes, there are many techniques that can be done with a smile on your face. For example, walking meditation is a great option for those who don't like sitting around for too long. It involves walking slowly, focusing your attention on your breath and the movement of your body.

Another fun option is chanting meditation. It involves singing a simple, repetitive melody, focusing your attention on the voice and vibration of the sound. It is a very relaxing and liberating technique.

Finally, there are also the guided meditations (my favorite) that take you on an imaginary journey. You may be invited to imagine walking through a forest, or flying like a bird. These meditations are a good option for those who want to relax and have fun at the same time.

Yoga and meditation don't always have to be serious. There are many fun and original options that can make the experience even more enjoyable.

So, let go of your staid attitude and try to have fun during your next yoga or meditation session.

Your mind and body will thank you!
